In essentials – unity ; In non-essentials – liberty ; In all things – charity

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give unto you.  I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.”

(John 14:27)
As we have watched the spread of the Corona Virus this week, we have seen new challenges every day and new responses to the pandemic.  We each have many reactions, but it is my hope that we stay positive and get through this together.
I truly believe this is a remarkable time in our human history and in our church history to reclaim and reevaluate what is critical to our faith - what is important and what is of little value.  Please think about what this moment clarifies for you about your purpose and how you can live that out as the Body of Christ.  We are a community that worships together and prays together.  Let us find Holy purpose.  Let us be creative, kind, joy-filled.  Because of this health crisis we can now look at what is essential.
In this deeply discouraging time, I want to support you, encourage you, and help you to feel the message of the Risen Christ in this most Holy Season of Lent.  I encourage you to reflect, breathe deeply, find peace in God.  You are each in my prayers and my love is extended to all.

Peace be with you,

Rev. Priscilla
