Our Congregational Style

Our church is affiliated with the United Church of Christ and the Unitarian Universalist Association. Our style of life is built around the fact that our church is autonomous and self-reliant. All members are considered to be ministers of the Gospel. The independence of the congregation grants its members the freedom and openness of their convictions, but also imposes on them the responsibilities of running the church. Our members support our church in its work, its worship, its finances and its mission both locally and worldwide. Coordination and planning for our church’s ministry, mission and of its life together is provided by a Church Council and six commissions.
